Chef Lalit Mohan is a chef who loves to feed people and make them happy. While studying he developed a passion for food & realized that food was the tune he would like to play. He has an avid interest in cooking and believes that a chef is like a magician who is a mixture of artistry and craft.
A Delhi University graduate, he attained his professional qualification from the Delhi Institute of Hotel Management & catering technology. He started his career with’ The Grand Hyatt ‘, New Delhi. He has also worked with reputed brands like Olive Bar & Kitchen and was a Head chef with Pan India Food Solutions Pvt Ltd (a joint venture of Blue foods & Future Group) a Mumbai based restaurant chain at the age of 28.
He has shared his valuable knowledge and expertise with IIHM & some other reputed institutions also. Moreover, he has been responsible for changing the lives of many chefs by providing them with impeccable culinary education.
Chef Lalit has been felicitated by the chief minister Mr Konarg Sangma during the First North East Food Show. He is an active executive member of the Indian Culinary Forum & was a member of the Chef de Cuisine Association of America.
He has also been a certified judge from the World Association of Chefs Society in various culinary competitions organized by the Indian Culinary Forum & other bodies. He has also featured in numerous cookery shows on television & also in a documentary film on Bakery & Confectionery by NIOS, Govt. of India.
He recently had the privilege of curating the menu for the Ambassador’s farewell & National Day celebration of Serbia, which was attended by National & International high profile delegates, including the State Home Minister as the Chief Guest.
At present, Chef Lalit a Culinary genius is a founder Associate Director with the Asian Academy Of Culinary Art.
